Belgian applicants are advised to check with the respective National Contact Points the eligibility as to who may apply and what costs are eligible before a consortium submits the complete application.
The maximum amount of requested funding per project is 10.000 EUR for a total period of one year.
Additional national eligibility criteria for the proposal beyond the general criteria in the Terms of Reference of the joint call:
The applicant must be affiliated to a research institution from the “Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles”.
The applicant should also:
The applicant should not have reached retirement at the starting date of the project. If the applicant reaches the age of retirement in the course of the project, he should precisely describe in the proposal how the handover will be managed.
A single applicant may only participate once in a consortium applying to this call.
The maximum amount allocated per project is 10.000 EUR. The following costs are eligible:

All partner countries cover the costs for their participants based on their respective national regulations.
The F.R.S.-FNRS will cover costs related to the organisation of scientific events, project meetings and workshops in the “Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles”. These costs cannot exceed a total amount of 3.000 Euro over the total duration of the project and can only cover:
The F.R.S.-FNRS can cover costs for consumables and small equipment: only on a limited scale and if its need is clearly demonstrated.
Personnel costs are not eligible.
There are no eligible indirect costs.
